UEZ 2019
The Uludag Economic Summit, organized for the eighth time by Turkey’s leading economic magazines Capital, StartUp and Economist, became the meeting point for Turkish business and multinational company executives. The summit was held in Bursa-Uludag on 22-23 March 2019 and was attended by The Company’s Co-Founder Onur Atakay and Press and Public Relations Manager Deniz Dogan on behalf of Pegasus. Commenting on the summit, which hosted over 1,500 participants and over 100 speakers from Turkey and around the world, Onur Atakay said that they enjoyed listening to the business people who are guiding Turkey and the world economy and learning their future perspectives. Emphasizing that developments in the world economy cannot be considered independent of the preferences of global policymakers, Atakay pointed out that company executives doing business on an international scale should also master these variables beyond their control. Atakay added that they intend to participate in the Uludag Economic Summit, which has become traditional as “Turkey’s Davos”, in the coming years. At the Uludag Economic Summit, the pulse of many sectors from industry to trade, production to retail, finance to technology was kept, while developments that would shape the business world and economy were discussed. International participations from countries such as the United States, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Jordan, Nigeria, The United Kingdom, South Korea, the Netherlands, China, Slovakia and Estonia took part in the summit, which included the Chairman of the Board of Directors and senior executives of large companies representing the Turkish business world.
