Descriptio

ANTIPEG 600 is a concrete mixture containing chloride-free chemical compounds, which reduces the curing time of fresh concrete. Thanks to this feature, it offers the possibility of early molding by increasing the initial strength of concrete without reducing its maneuverability and strength in environmental conditions, especially in cold weather, and minimizing the risk of exposure of concrete to frost.

Field of application

• In all ready-mixed concrete classes described in EN 206 and EN 13515

• Cold weather concrete applications

• Concrete requiring early moulding

• Concrete requiring high strength Characteristics

It increases the hydration temperature of the concrete and allows early adjustment.

• It helps protect concrete from freezing by reducing the freezing point of concrete water.

• It does not contain chloride ions. Reinforcement does not cause corrosion.

• It increases the initial strength of concrete.

Utilisatio

• ANTIPEG 600 can be used in concrete pours up to + 5 °C. Additional protective measures (insulated mold, protective cover, etc.) must be taken when pouring concrete in cold weather in this area.

• Available in liquid form for mixing fresh concrete. It is recommended to join the water mixture to the ready-mixed concrete production plant.

Standards

• ANTIPEG 600: EN 934-2 Table 6 ASTM C 494 Pointe C.

Consumption

It is recommended to use 0.5-3% by weight of the total binder in all concrete classes described in EN 206 and EN 13515.

Storage conditions

In case of freezing, the product must be mechanically mixed carefully after thawing. Available in 25 kg barrels, 200 kg barrels, 1000 kg IBC tanks and bulk.

Compatibility

ANTIPEG 600 is compatible with the construction chemicals PLASTPEG, Airpeg, Antipeg, Retardpeg, Proofpeg, Specialpeg from PEGASUS, For its compatibility information with other additives, it is advisable to consult the PEGASUS technical support unit If more than one additive substance is used on the design of the mixture, each substance must be added to the mixture separately. It can be used with all types of cement compatible with ANTIPEG 600, EN 197-1 and all mineral adjuvants (fly ash, blast furnace slag, silica fumes, etc.) compatible with EN 206 and EN 13515. For use on special types of cement, it is recommended to consult the PEGASUS Technical Support Unit.

Precaution for use

The Adjuvant must be away from the skin and eyes. In case of contact, it should be washed with water. Goggles / gloves / masks should be used when using the mixture. The safety data sheet (MSDS) should be read for detailed information
