SPECİALPEG 10 is a mortar additive based on acrylic rubber and synthetic rubber used in cement-based and repair coatings, which improves the chemical strength and strength of mortars, ensures impermeability and guarantees a strong and permanent bond to the surface.

Utilisatio

• Surface preparation

• The surface must be clean and purge of non-stick agents.

• Surfaces should be saturated with clean water and excess water previously moistened should be removed.

• If the equipment is rusty, it must be cleaned and, if necessary, coated or replaced with anti-corrosion products.

• Mixing

• Mixing ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:4 (SPEGALTON 10: SU) depending on materials, surface, mortar thickness, environmental conditions and application.

• Cement and sand are mixed and laboratory tests are carried out as needed. The SPECİALPEG 10-SU mixture is prepared and mixed with the cement-sand mixture until a cream consistency is obtained.

Consumption

Mortar is applied to smooth, non-absorbent surfaces. In large area applications (thick application) a few layers can be applied, provided that it is at least 1 cm. Surface finishing should be carried out immediately after application. Freshly applied mortar should be protected from frost, sun and wind.

Storage conditions

The product must be stored above 5 °C. In case of freezing, the product must be mechanically mixed carefully after thawing. Available in 25 kg barrels, 200 kg barrels, 1.00 kg IBC tanks and bulk.

Precaution of use

Avoid contact of the product with the eyes or skin. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water and then consult a specialist. Use gloves, a protective mask and goggles during use. For more information, read the product’s Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
