UNDERPEG AF S1, is a liquid binder accelerator for high-performance shotcrete, without alkalis, for the production of shotcrete in wet systems.

Characteristics

UNDERPEG AF S1 can be used in all types of wet spray concrete. The acceleration effect of UNDERPEG AF S1 depends on the type, dosage and age of the cement, the temperature of the shotcrete and surface, the thickness of the layer, the spraying process and the equipment.

• Low bounce application when the correct angle and distance of the nozzle is provided.

• Increases adhesion between shotcrete and rock and concrete, facilitates applications at height.

• Enables a safe working environment, minimizing environmental impacts while reducing operating costs.

• Does not contain chlorine

Utilisatio

• Regarding UNDERPEG AF S1, the dosage for layers applied at once and with a thickness of up to 20 cm. is between 3 and 9% by weight of binder.

Storage conditions

• The storage temperature must be at least +5 °C and maximum +35 °C. (The optimal storage temperature is +20 °C.). • Store in closed plastic or stainless steel containers.

• Cannot be stored in ordinary sheet metal containers.

• If stored in high volume tanks, a circulation system is required.

• After long-term storage or transport, it is recommended to mechanically mix the material before use or to recirculate it with the appropriate pump.

• The service life is 6 months if stored in hermetically sealed IBC tanks under the conditions indicated above. Periodic mixing can extend the shelf life.

Compatibility

UNDERPEG AF S1, Superpeg ve Hyperpeg are compatible with PEGASUS construction chemicals. UNDERPEG AF S1, can be used with all types of cement according to nf EN 197-1. It is recommended to contact PEGASUS technical support for use in special cement types.

Precaution of use

Contact of the additive with the skin and eyes should be avoided and in case of contact, wash thoroughly with water. In case of contact with the eyes, wash immediately and thoroughly with water and consult a specialist. Gloves, protective masks and goggles should be worn during use.
