Quantity of use

Depending on the structural changes in the constituent components of concrete, the ambient temperature and the applied surface, the amount used is from 3 to 10% of the cement ratio: The most appropriate dosage should be determined by preliminary tests depending on the conditions affecting the concrete spraying process.

Things to consider when applying.

• The surface to be applied should be clean, firm and slightly moistened to prevent water from the concrete from being absorbed by the dry surface.

• If there is a flow of water to the surface, it should be stopped or the flow of water into the mortar reduced and prevented from flowing.

• Enough water must be added to the dry concrete mixture at the tip of the nozzle to ensure optimal hydration.

• In case of lack of water; the rebound increases and in case of excess water, the setting time is prolonged.

• The water/cement ratio must be less than or equal to 0.45.

• Water should be reduced to low temperatures.

• Aggregates must be well washed, clean and free of substances that may cause an alkaline-aggregate reaction. • Spraying in layers on the surface reduces the projection behind the mortar.

• The material must be prepared for quick use and protected from moisture.

Storage conditions

Sold with a 20 kg bag. The shelf life is 12 months in its original packaging, in a dry, protected and ventilated environment at +50 °C / + 350 °C, away from direct sunlight and frost.

Compatibility

UNDERPEG P, Hyperpeg and Superpeg is compatible with PEGASUS construction chemicals. Please contact PEGASUS Technical Support for compatibility with other additives. The product can be used with ASTM compliant Portland cement. It is recommended to contact PEGASUS technical support for use in special cement types.

Precaution of use

Contact of the additive with the skin and eyes should be avoided and in case of contact, wash thoroughly with water. In case of contact with the eyes, wash immediately and thoroughly with water and consult a specialist. Gloves, protective masks and goggles should be worn during use.
