Cement additives of the CEMPEG PA series are intended to facilitate the grinding of minerals on a general level, and more particularly cements. In addition to conventional grinding facilitators, it also has a positive effect on grinder efficiency and cement flow. It also helps to increase the strength of the cement.

Field of application

• The amount of crushed cement increases at the exit of the plant.

• The fineness of cement increases by up to 12% and /or the cost of unit energy and grinding decreases.

• If the size of the cement grains is not reduced (Blaine), cement from the CEMPEG PA series is used to obtain cement of initial and final strength. According to the experiments, it was observed that the increase in pressure resistance was between 5% and 50% compared to samples without additives.

Characteristics

CEMPEG PA series cement additives reduce the electrical attraction between cement particles, prevent agglomeration and increase the hydration rate of cement.

Utilisatio

The use of additive varies between 0.03% and 0.10% in tons. In view of laboratory studies, it is recommended to determine the ratio between clinker and other additives, the effect on grinding, the effect on setting times, the viscosity of the mortar and the compressive strength of the cement.

Storage conditions

The product must be stored above 5 °C. In case of freezing, the product must be mechanically mixed carefully after thawing. Available in 25 kg barrels, 200 kg barrels, 1,000 kg IBC tanks and bulk.

Precaution of use

Avoid contact of the product with the eyes or skin. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water and then consult a specialist. Use gloves, a protective mask and goggles during use. For more information, read the product’s Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
