Limak’s cement investment in the Ivory Coast was commissioned

Sintek continues to add value to the investments of Limak Cement, the first Turkish cement group to enter the African market with its investments in Ivory Coast and Mozambique.

The construction, steel and mechanical assembly works of the Cement Grinding Facility of the Group in Ivory Coast have been successfully completed by Sintek. The electrical and automation works and commissioning of the facility were carried out on the basis of environmental and occupational health and safety.

The facility, with a total investment of 58 million Euros, was built in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, approximately 20 km from the port. In the first phase, the facility will have an annual cement grinding and packaging capacity of 1 million tons and a production capacity of 1 million cubic meters of ready mixed concrete.
