We attended SAMAO Fair in Burkina Faso

Sintek participated in the SAMAO Fair (Semaine des Activites Minieresd’Afrique de I’Ouest) held in Burkina Faso, one of the West African countries, within the framework of its vision to evaluate investment and business opportunities in the African continent.

Sintek executives, who came together with the investors in the cement and mining sector at the fair held between 27-29 September 2018, held productive meetings for possible future collaborations.

The fair, attended by many public managers and private sector representatives of Burkina Faso, is considered one of the important meeting points where business opportunities in the African continent are evaluated.

Bordering countries such as Mali, Niger, Benin, Togo, Ghana and Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso has a Gross Domestic Product of approximately 12 Billion Dollars and a per capita income of 720 Dollars. Petroleum oils, motor vehicles, electrical/electronic goods, medical drugs, rice, cement, palm oil and iron and steel products are among the products imported by the country.
