Utilisatio

• COLOURPEG R is added to the trans mixer during the manufacture of concrete or before the casting of the trans mixers.

• It is preferably used by mixing in the mixer when mixing.

• If applicable in trans mixers, for each cubic meter it should be mixed for 2 minutes.

Amount of use

Regarding the amount of use covering all types of concrete classes described in EN 206 and EN 13515 standards, it is recommended to use it between 2 kg / m³ and 10 kg / m³ for one cubic meter of concrete. This amount varies depending on the cement, aggregates, mineral additives, water components as well as the properties of fresh and hardened concrete used in the design of concrete mixtures. Therefore, laboratory tests should be performed based on the expected properties of fresh concrete and hardened concrete before the utilization rate is determined and the mixing ratio should be determined based on these experiments.

Storage conditions

The product should be stored above 5 °C. In case of freezing, the product must be mechanically mixed carefully after thawing. The shelf life of the product is 1 year. Available in 25 kg barrels, buckets and 1,000 kg IBC tanks.

Compatibility

COLOURPEG R, is compatible with the concrete admixtures Plastpeg, Airpeg, Antipeg, Superpeg Retardpeg, Proofpeg, Specialpeg from PEGASUS. The PEGASUS Technical Support Unit should be contacted for information on compliance with other additives. If more than one additive is to be used in the desired mixture design, each additive must be added separately to the mixture. COLOURPEG R can be used with all types of cement according to NF EN 197-1. For use in special types of cement, it is recommended to call on PEGASUS technical support.

Precaution of use

Avoid contact of the product with the eyes or skin, in case of contact with them, rinse thoroughly with water. In case of contact with the eyes, wash immediately and thoroughly with water and then consult a specialist. Use gloves, a protective mask and goggles during use.
