MASTERPEG 1100 is a specific formulation that promotes the initial hydration reactions of cements, especially at low temperatures. The grip is accelerated and the mechanical resistances develop rapidly.

Features

• MASTERPEG 1100, as a concrete mixture, allows fresh concrete to be worked without causing segregation

• It lets concrete mixing patterns form with low water/cement levels

• It increases the endurance of hardened concrete against environmental effects

• It does not include chloride ions and it does not cause corrosion to appliances.

Utilisatio

• MASTERPEG 1100, is ready to use as a liquid for mixing fresh concrete. It is recommended to add it to the wasting water in the ready-mix concrete production plant.

Quantity of use

It is recommended that the total binder existing in each type of concrete class mixture design described in EN 206 and EN 13515 be used between the rates of 0.2% and 1.4% by weight. This rate changes in the design of the concrete mixture depending on the amount of air required, the cement characteristics used, aggregates, mineral additives, water components, heat and also according to the preferred characteristics of fresh and hardened concrete. Therefore, laboratory tests should be carried out according to the preferred characteristics and the rate of use should be determined. Since the amount of air to be drawn into the concrete will increase the dosage of additives to be used, it is expected that the strength of the concrete will decrease.

Storage conditions and

The product should be stored above 5 °C. In the event that the product freezes, it must be thoroughly mixed mechanically after thawing for restitution. It is on sale as a 25 kg plastic drum, 200 kg drums, 1000 kg plastic cubicles, and bulk.

Compatibility

MASTERPEG 1000 is compatible with PLASTPEG, Airpeg, Antipeg, Retardpeg, Proofpeg, Specialpeg from PEGASUS. For compatibility information with other additives, please consult the PEGASUS Chemical Construction Technical Support Unit. If more than one additive substance is used in the design of the mixture, each substance must be added to the mixture separately. It can be used with all types of cement compatible with masterpeg 1000 EN 197-1 and all mineral additives. For use on special types of cement, it is recommended to consult the technical support unit of PEGASUS Chemical Construction.

Precaution of use

Contact of the additive with the skin and eyes should be avoided. In case of contact, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with the eyes, wash immediately and thoroughly with water and consult a specialist. Safety glasses / gloves / protective masks should be used during the use of the mixture.
