Application
Preparation of the mortar
The container, in which the mortar will be prepared, should be flexible, wide, waterproof, and its inner surface should be smooth. The ideal mixture of mortar is 10 kg of plaster for 7.0-7.5 liters of water. Practically, firstly the half of the container is filled with water. Pegasus construction plaster is then added until a layer of gypsum is formed on the surface of water. After waiting for a few minutes, it is mixed by hand or with a low-speed mixer for a maximum of 1-1,5 minutes and turned into mortar. The mortar should not be mixed for a long time, early setting can be seen in the mortar, which is mixed for an extended period of time and at a high speed. The resulting mortar can remain in the container with a plastic consistency for 7 minutes.
Application of the Mortar
The prepared mortar is applied to the surface to be repaired or filled with a spatula. As soon as the mortar begins to set, the roughness on the surface is corrected with a spatula.
Safety Information
100% natural gypsum contains modifiers that do not harm human health. The shelf life is 8 months from the date of production when stored on the pallet without opening the packaging in dry environment. It complies with TS EN 13279-1,2 standard.

Water must be placed first when preparing the mortar. After mixing the mortar, neither plaster nor water should be added. No other material should be added to the prepared mortar. When preparing the new mortar, the remnants of the old mortar in the container should be thoroughly cleaned. Applications should not be made at temperatures below +5 °C and above +35 °C. Application should not be made on dusty and crunchy surfaces without taking the necessary precautions. Application should not be made in cases where there is a risk of freezing within 24 hours. Dry surfaces must be moistened before application. Gross concrete surfaces should be either roughened or primed with a suitable primer before application. Avoid applying in very hot weather, under strong winds and sun. The addition of foreign material should be avoided. The recommended ratios and times for preparing the mortar should be strictly followed. Already used material that has already began to harden should not be added to new mixtures. During application, all tools should be washed with water before they dry.
