Descriptio

PLASTPEG 100 / 100 S / 100 W is based on modified sulphonated components, the process aimed at improving the working suitability of fresh concrete and the addition of water-reducing plasticizing concrete.

Field

• In all ready-mixed concrete classes described in EN 206 and EN 13515

• Applications for low-water/cement concrete;

• Applications for waterproof concretes;

• Applications for smooth surfaces such as bridges/viaducts

• In the construction of all building elements.

Advantages

• PLASTPEG 100 / 100 S / 100 W is an admixture for plasticizing concrete that allows to work fresh concrete without causing segregation.

• It allows concrete mixing models to form with low water/cement levels.

• It increases the endurance of hardened concrete against environmental effect conditions

• It does not include chloride ions and it does not cause corrosion of the paraphernalia.

• It provides long-term consistency protection to fresh concrete. This makes it possible to transport the fresh concrete mixture over long distances.

Utilisatio

• PLASTPEG 100 / 100 S / 100 W is ready for use as a liquid for mixing fresh concrete. It is recommended to add it to the wasting water in the ready-mix concrete production plant.

Use of weather conditions

• Summer month PLASTPEG 100 S

• Winter month PLASTPEG 100 W

• Transition month PLASTPEG 100.

Standards

• PLASTPEG 100:  EN 934-2 Table 10 ASTM C 494 Type D

• PLASTPEG 100 S: EN 934-2 Table 2, 12 ASTM C 494 Type A

• PLASTPEG 100 W: EN 934-2 Table 2 ASTM C 494 Type A

Consummato

It is recommended that the total binder existing in each type of mixing design of concrete classes described in EN 206 and EN 13515 be used between the rates of 0.5% and 1.8% in terms of weight. This rate changes in the design of the concrete mixture depending on the amount of air required, the cement characteristics used, aggregates, mineral additives, water components, heat and also according to the preferred characteristics of fresh and hardened concrete. Therefore, laboratory tests should be carried out according to the preferred characteristics, and the rate of utilization should be determined. Since the amount of air to be drawn onto the concrete will increase the dosage of additives to be used, it is expected that the strength of the concrete will decrease.

Storage conditions and

The product must be stored above 5 °C. In the event that the product freezes, it must be thoroughly mixed mechanically after thawing for restitution. It is on sale as a 25 kg plastic drum, 200 kg drums, 1.00 kg plastic cubicines and bulk.

Compatibility

PLASTPEG 100/100 S/100 W is compatible with Hyperpeg, Airpeg, Antipeg, Retardpeg, Proofpeg, Specialpeg PEGASUS Series. For compatibility information with other adjuvants, the PEGASUS Technical Support Unit should be consulted If more than one additive substance is used in the design of the mixture, each substance shall be added to the mixture separately. It can be used with all types of cement compatible with the standard PLASTPEG 100 / 100 S / 100 W, EN 197-1 and all mineral additives (fly ash, blast furnace slag, silica fumes, etc.) compatible with EN 206 and EN 13515. For use on special types of cement, it is recommended to consult the PEGASUS Technical Support Unit.
