Ivory Coast Minister of State and Foreign Affairs Kandia Camara, who had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Ankara, and the important meetings he held in Turkey and the trust he had in Turkey, had wide repercussions in the local press of Ivory Coast.

Camara, who assured many investors to take initiatives as a result of the forums held to strengthen the relations between the two countries, met with investors operating in various fields such as cement, concrete, plaster, heavy industry and real estate.

She said that their countries in West Africa, which have a population of 28 million, want the trade volume to reach 1 billion dollars in order to strengthen and develop their relations with Turkey.

“We also need Turkey’s support. Come to our country, support Ivory Coast’s desire for development, help us improve our living conditions. This will be beneficial not only for Ivory Coast but also for the countries in the region.”

Talking about the Antalya Diplomacy Forum with laudatory words, Camara said about these successful panels hosted by Turkey, “You held a magnificent organization at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. Thanks to this forum, people’s perspectives will change. We can achieve development thanks to peace. Thanks to peace, diplomacy We can have a better world because of it.” she said.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu; He emphasized that we will further strengthen our cooperation with Ivory Coast, our important partner in West Africa.
